Aunt Alices Chocolate Cake

Preparation time: 15 Minutes
Cooking time: 30-40 Minutes

This chocolate cake is straightforward to make, looks professional, but tastes home made, it is moist and so will last for a few days. Follow the instructions exactly!

Ingredients: Serves 4-6
110g of margarine
150g of caster sugar
2 fresh eggs
110g self-raising flour
1 tablespoon of cocoa powder
2 tablespoons of hot water
1 tablespoon of milk

Cooking Instructions:

1. Blend the cocoa powder and hot water together, leave aside until cool.

2. Cream the margarine and sugar, add the cocoa mix and fold in.

3. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well, (add a little flour of the flour with the second egg).

4. Sieve in the rest of the flour.

5. Fold in the tablespoon of milk.

6. Turn into a greased 7 inch tin ( or two sandwich tins).

7. Bake for 30-40 minutes at gas mark 4, 180??? C (or for 25-30 minutes for the sandwich tins).

8. When cool decorate with chocolate butter cream, melted chocolate, cream or just sift some icing sugar over the top.

Ingredients

* 1 (16 ounce) can whole berry cranberry sauce or jellied cranberry sauce
* 3/4 cup chili sauce
* 1/4 cup water
* 2 lbs frozen fully cooked meatballs, thawed

Directions

Put the cranberry sauce, chili sauce and water in a slow cooker and stir to combine.

Add the meatballs and stir to coat them with the sauce.

Cover and cook on low 3-4 hours, until bubbly and meatballs are heated through.

Stir and serve warm from the slow cooker.

Ingredients
For the lemon and garlic-roasted chicken
1 chicken breast
1 garlic clove, chopped
50g/1??oz cheddar cheese, grated
2 tsp fresh thyme leaves
1 lemon, juice and zest only
2 tbsp olive oil
salt and freshly ground black pepper

Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180C/350F/Gas 4.
2. For the lemon and garlic-roasted chicken, cut two slashes into the chicken breast. Tuck the garlic and cheese into the pocket under the mini-fillet, cutting to make it larger if necessary.
3. Place the thyme leaves, lemon juice and zest and olive oil into a bowl, season with salt and freshly ground black pepper and mix well.
4. Place the chicken into the bowl and leave to marinate for ten minutes.
5. Heat a griddle pan and griddle the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side. Transfer to a baking sheet and roast in the oven for 12-14 minutes, or until completely cooked through.

Look at the ingredients for how to make mallow sponge cakes, but instead of icingg put whipped cream on top and a slice of apple.

How to make Chocolate muffins
Heat oven to 200??c/400F/gas mark 6. Seperately weigh out the butter and the sugar.
Step2 Pour into a large mixing bowl and add vanilla essence/extract.
Step3 Add the two eggs.
Step4 Measure out the flour and baking powder together and pour into the bowl.
Step 5 If you want double chocolate muffins, add 1 oz. cocoa powder into the bowl now.
Step6 Add chocolate chips and milk. Stir.
Step7 Whisk the mixture until it looks like mousse.
Step8 Pour into baking tray/muffin tin and cook for approx. 10-20 minutes, until the muffins bounce back when gently pressed.
Step9 Allow to cool before serving.

How to make paella

1. Saut?? garlic in a paella-type pan.

2. Add tomatoes, peas, shrimps and saffron.

3. Cook for a few minutes.

4. Add rice and stock.

5. Simmer for approximately 20 minutes.

6. Decorate with prawns and mussels.

7. Cover paella with a lid.

8. Poach the seafood for a few minutes.

9. Decorate paella with lemon quarters.

10. Enjoy!

How to make banana cake

4oz butter or margarine
6oz sugar
8oz self raising flour
2 eggs
2 large or 3 medium, very ripe bananas

Heat the oven to gas mark 4; 180C
Grease a 2lb loaf tin.
Mash the bananas with a sturdy fork.
Cream the butter and sugar together and mix in the eggs
Mix together the two yellow sludges you now have.
Mix in the flour.
Scrape into the loaf tin and bake for 40 minutes then lower teh temperature to gas mark 2; 150C and cook for a further 30 minutes.

Try to let it cool (turned out on a rack) before you devour it.

Mini Pizzas -
Ingredients - Two Large Ready Made Pizza Bases, Chutney and Cheese.
Using a cutter, cut 16 circles out of the two large pizza bases, 8 in each and pre heat the oven to gas mark four, or 180'. Then put the pizza bases in the oven on a baking tray and add the chutney and cream cheese and rosemary. Also, you can put any topping on the pizzas, such as salmon and cheese, cranberry sauce and onion, pate and many others you can think of.

Mini Toad in the Holes

Smoked Salmon on Bread -

Ingredients - Smoked Salmon Pieces and a French Baguette

Carve the french baguette into slices, then butter them, next lay the salmon on top.

Other good Pary Starters - Crisps, Grapes and Mini Marapets is totally awesometail Sausages.

A new Vegertarian Dish:
Apple Snow
Ingredients: 450g Cooking Apples
1 tablespoon Clear Honey
2 free range egg whites
1 dessertspoon of chopped nuts

Wash and peel and core the apples and chop them into roughly 2cm chunks.
Put the chopped apple and honey into the saucepan and fill it up with water jsut covering the bottom of the source pan.
Cover over with the lid and cook the apples until they are soft and pulpy.
Leave the cooked apples to stand and add the egg whites gently to the mixture.
Whisk the egg whites and till they make stiff peaks.
Add the eggs white to the apple mixture and do not melt to much incase it melts.#
Re heat (optional) and add the nuts, icing sugar and fresh double cream to the mixture

Ingredients:
1x Small Potato
1x Carrot
1/2 onion
3/4 Puff Pastry

Prepare the Veg
Boil the Potataoes
Roll the puff pastry with a rolling pin,
Create circles out of pastry, using pan lid
Put water round the edges
Fold the pastry over
Pat down with a fork
Put in the oven at 180' (gas mark 4)
After 15mins check pastry

steps

take a large sheet of tin foil 17-20 inches long and cover it with butter.
(wash hands well and dont put fingers in mouth)
rip the raw meat into a bout a square inch and sprinkle them around. Add the veggies add salt and pepper and fold it up so all the ingrediants are inside. put it on the grill or on top of the campfire for 15 minutes, let cool and enjoy!!!

peanut butter

get about a handful of carrots and and a hand ful of celery.

put them on a cutting block and carefully chop them into half inch tall pieces. Take some peanut butter and spread it between the pieces of carrots and celery. Stack them as high as you want and enjoy them with a tall glass of anything

Camping Recipes

Recipe for chocolate bananas:

"Get a banana and cut a slit in it. Keep skin on. Fill with four pieces of chocolate and try to close the slit back up. Cook over a fire until chocolate oozes out.

This is a great camp fire recipe with no utensils needed."

Mallow Cookies:

Get a chocolate chip cookie and place some mini marshmallows on top, or 5 big marshmallows, then cook over the fire until the chocolate is Warm and the Mallows are running.

Autum Apricot Balls:
Ingredients: 1/2 lb of Dried Apricots, 1 Cup of Sugar and Rind and Juice of half an orange. Honey (optional)

Mince Apricots and Chop them finely using scissors. Put them into a pan with the sugar and Finely Grated rind and Juice of the orange. Stir over a gentle heat until the sugar dissolves. Allow them to Cool, roll them into small balls and roll into the sugar. Chill in Fridge to Set Well. You can add Homey to Make it taste Sweeter.

Fantom Fantasy:
Things you will need: A mixture, Cake tins, White Icing, Black Icing, An oven, Self Raising Flour, Eggs, Milk, Margarine, Caster Sugar.
Taste = Sweet

Weigh 3 medium eggs, weigh the same out in self raising flour, caster sugar and margarine. Pour the caster sugar and margarine into the bowl, using a mixture, then beat together for 2 minutes.

Then, seperate the eggs into the bowl, and add 100ml of milk, then add the self raising flour. Mix together Thouroughly.

Seperate the Mixture into two cake tins and put in the oven on gas mark 7/180' for 40 minutes. Take it out so it can cool for 7 minutes.

Next, using a knife cut the sponges into small circles. Approximately each sponge circle should be the size of a water bottle base. Next Decorate the circles with white icing, and a black nose, black eyes and quivering lips.

Ingredients = Icing Sugar, White Icing and Mini Marshmallows

Choose a group of white mini marshmallows, and squeeze white icing on it, to enable it to stick together, then sprinkle some icing onto it and you are done!

How to make Crepe a Icing.
My avertisement and Recipe.
This Recipe was actually made by me. I you want to know how to cook/make anything please also maramail me, but give me some notice, and i will post it. Also if you want a job working with me for delectable delights just maramail me. You're salary will come from me, and instead of getting money, you will get cool prizes!

Crepe a Icing.
Ingredients: Plain Flour, Ready to Roll Icing,Eggs, Milk (prefferably full fat), caster sugar,margarine and mini marshmellows.

Crack two eggs and 200grams of flour into a bowl. Then, add the milk and mix throughly together. Next add 200grams of caster sugar. Mix together, lift your spoon out of the bowl, if it drops of naturally. then pour it inot a measuring jug. If it doesn't stir again and add a splash of milk and a sprinkling of flour. Then put some butter into a sauce pan, and turn the hob off. Pour 100grams of the mixture into the sauce pan and let it cook, after about 45 seconds flip it over. Once it is cooked. Cut chunks of your icing, and roll it into balls. The tear a bit off your pancake and spread some icing on it, then wrap it round, the icing ball,and add two mini marshmellows on the top, your mixture should make about 40 Crepe a icing's.

How to make Pasta Sauce.

Put all of the tomatoes into a pan of boiling water, for approximately two minutes. Keep stirring constantly. Then take the tomatoes out, and put them in a bowl of icy water, until the skins are loose, and can slide off. Then either spoon out the seeds or leave them in if they don't bother you. Next, mush the tomatoes, and sprinkle some salt, pepper and paprika, and add some basil. Meanwhile, fry garlic and onions, and mushrooms. Then, re - heat the sauce for two more minutes. Turn off the hob and add the garlic, onions and mushrooms to the sauce. Can be used as a spagehetti or Pasta sauce or do not re heat it, and use with tortilla chips.

How to make Mallow Cakes

Ingredients: 18cm cake tims x2, Ready to Roll icing, a packet of marshmellows, Self raising flour, milk eggs, Castre sugar, Maragarine.

Firstly, weigh your eggs, whatever the weight is weigh the same out in flour, maragarine and caster sugar.

Pour the sugar and margarine into a bowl and mix thoroughly together, then crack in 2 meduim eggs, and add the flour and the milk, before you pour the flour in sieve it.

Mix everything together and stir continusously. Divide the mixture equally into the two cake tins. Then put in the oven on gas mark 4 for 35 minutes.
Halfway through the cooking swap the two cake tins and switch the racks they are on.

When it is done, leave on a cooling tray for 7 minutes.Meanwhile, cut a chunk of the icing sprinkle some flour on a surface and roll, also pour the marshmellows into a bowl and put in the microwave until a liquid form.

Next, slice the sponge cake and on one side put the icing on the top, and the marshmellow on the other side, and on the other slice, spread the runny marshmellow on one side.
