OceanClan live near the edge of the Everforest,on the stretch of land in between forest and sea.A comes from the forest into their territory for safe water to drink.Nearer to the sea,tidal pools dot the territory,and young pups often play around them under the watchful eye of their parents.Leaders are chosen by dipping their paw in the Everpool,the largest and most fascinating tidalpool on their territory.If the water remains the same,or turns red or black...uh oh...but if it turns silver or a large whirlpool spins around the Everpool-nice!When an apprentice has reached one year of training (it begins at six months) it must fish out of the ocean(Everpool and other tidal pool fish are considered sacred.)If the fish is red,they are destined to be a hunter,black,fighter,silver or white,healer.When a female wolf reaches the age of five years old,she is asked to choose a mate.If she does not,she will be asked again every year,unless she informs the leader she does not want a mate.Females can choose whether they announce who their mate is or not,but they must announce if they are currently carrying a pup.
