Mara really isn't what it used to be.

I really agree with midkitten on this. Mostly the same reasons, but possibly some different.

Beggars really need to get a grip. I'm pretty sure that none of the experienced players are willing to hand out marapoints, items, or pets to a random newbie. You've got to earn it for yourself. Whenever you beg, it just makes you seem desperate, so why do it?

Chatspeak is beyond annoying. Why do you use it anyways? To look cool? Or possibly to type faster? Well, neither of those are acceptable answers! For one, it doesn't make you look cool, and two, it isn't faster at all. If you have time to make an 'e' a '3', then you have time to spell a word out correctly. Plus, wasn't it in the rules that it's only allowed in spam, anyways?!

Trades are absolutely outrageous. Some of them may be reasonable, but when someone comes across an unreasonable one, they throw a fit and get angry. If you think something is unreasonable, pass it up and get over it. Yet sometimes, when someone comes across an unreasonable trade on the opposite person's behalf, and they don't notice it, they will offer on the trade, win it, realize it's unreasonable, and whine. It's honestly your fault for not noticing. That just also leads to ' I didn't mean to offer' [etc.]. Well, maybe you should be more careful, eh?

Prices are what annoy me. I was selling white blood, and when I checked the price, I was very happy to see that it was worth 235k. Well, when I saw nobody was buying it, I re-checked the price, and it had gone down to 195k. This upsets me because sometimes people do this purposely so that you don't get the marapoints it's worth out of it.

Another thing, is the decreasing in the spam chat. Staff have allowed fashion shows into the spam chat and now it's all that spam is made of! Spam is practically dying because of all of the fashion nonsense. The spam chat used to be filled with spam fun. Now, it's nothing but made up of diva's.

Account upgrades are on my last nerve here on marapets. It's seriously annoying that you have to spend your own money on a virtual petsite, when you could be spending it on something much better in real life. Everything revolves around AU's now. The money does support the site, but like midkitten said, shouldn't something more be done with the site?

Limited edition pets are the only thing standing in some peoples way, apparently. 'All the good pets are LE! I can't get them.'. Well, maybe if you worked hard to earn money and you didn't spend it all the time, maybe you could get one yourself instead of buying AU's or trading. Trading is good for that sometimes, but if they don't have a good name that you dislike, you may have to trade and get the certificate. Otherwise, good luck earning one. Honestly, that's the fun part. If Ian just threw you some pets, whats your goals?

Clubs are pretty much just based on Warriors, Harry Potter, etc. Aren't there ever any clubs just about marapets? Good ness. And if you can't seem to spell correctly or can't help to talk in chatspeak, maybe your not good owner-material.

I suppose that people report boards for fun nowadays. Well, you could get into trouble for reporting a topic that doesn't need to be reported. Why waste your time reporting a perfectly fine topic, when you could go and report a dating topic, etc.

Mara's not what it used to be. It angers me that these things cause huge problems. Ugh.
