my turn to rant

The biggest question is which to rant about first, the stupid mails that flood my maramail, or the stupid reports that show up for me? I do not mind either if they are
legitimate, but most of what I am getting lately is not.
I will start with the mails.

There is no need to mail a staff member to explain simple things. The forums can be used, and 3/4's of the members can answer almost every question I get asked.
For some reason, people believe that my star means I should be their personal guide through Mara. I am not a personal guide.
It is easy enough to learn your way around. There are a few good sites for information about Mara that will help. Again, ask in the forums

Do I want to trade pets?
No, I think I was clear about that on my lookup, as well as on a few other things.
No, I do not want to be your friend and chitchat with you. I have things I need to do on the site.
No, I do not want to invite you to my club, I wish my club members would ban together and create another club, as I have not been able to be active there in ages.. too much to do elsewhere.
Do I want to give you something from my gallery? No, none of it is for giving, and what you may offer on is explained there.
Do I want to unban or unfreeze your (or your brother, sister, friend, etc) account? Probably not, but I will check. If I say no, though, I have no desire for a 2 minute, hour, day or week conversation with you about why I should change my mind. I do not want to hear about how unfair staff is, either, we did not break the rules to get the account frozen or banned. If we made a mistake, we will fix it the best we can, and will usually apologize, we are human, also.
If you attack me through my mail, do not expect me to sit quietly.. again, I am human.

If your mail was important, and I did not respond, I may have missed it, and feel free to write again. If you have written to other staff members about the same thing and just not received the answer you want, do not expect me to respond and give you a different answer.
If you do need to write me back about something, do not expect me to remember your question, remind me what it was about.

If you have a valid question to ask me, do not ask me if you can ask me a question or if I am staff, ask the question up front.
I do not have time to play games about what you are needing to know. I am sure there is much I have missed here, but I may get back to improve it.
I will rant about what you should and shouldn't push the report button for another time.
